To do this, you will need the right tools and equipment for the job. These include pH meters, temperature control equipment, growing tents and so much more.

But before we dive into the tools you will need, it is important you obtain your ACMPR license to grow medicinal marijuana in order to grow numerous plants legally. This process takes a few months and after your application for the license is approved, then you can purchase all the tools you will need.

Here are a few of the must-have tools you will need to grow healthy cannabis plants indoors:

Grow tents

One common misconception first-time growers have is that once the plant is grown indoors, it is fine. However, simply planting the crops in your garage or cellar is not at all sufficient.

Grow tents allow you to have better control of the atmospheric conditions surrounding your plants and having various grow tents will allow you to better facilitate the various stages of plant growth.

These tents come in a variety of shapes and sizes and there is a tent out there to suit any budget. They are also easy to install and dismantle and are typically lined with reflective Mylar to maximize the plant’s light exposure. Grow tents are usually easy to maintain and clean.

Grow lights

We all know that plants need sunlight in order to grow. But what happens when you grow these plants indoors?

When plants are grown indoors, they still need a light source. These are usually HID and LED lights. These lights come in a variety of sizes and at different costs and the lights, you use depend on how much light your grow room will require.

Just be sure not to put the lights too close to the plants as it can cause wilting. Also, setting up the lights too close to the temperature gauge will also result in incorrect readings.

Temperature control gadget

The temperature of your grow room is extremely important. And, having equipment that is able to adjust the temperature when it falls above or below the 65 and 78 degrees range is extremely helpful. This will ensure that the plants grow in a healthy fashion, and will not die due to negligence.

The temperature control gadget can also be used to control the humidity of the room. By adjusting the temperature, you are also able to control the amount of moisture in the air.

pH meter

Watering your plants is an integral part of the growing process. However, it is not as simple as some people would believe it to be.

One cannot simply water the plants with any water they have at hand. This is due to the fact that water that is too acidic or alkaline can cause several problems for the plants.

Before watering, test the pH of the plants with the ph water to ensure it falls between 5.5 and 7. If it does not, avoid using it on your plants.

There are also several products you can use to adjust the pH level of the water.

Carbon filters

Growing cannabis is a smelly affair. And, in order to reduce that smell, you will need a carbon filter to control the odors emitted.

You may also use odor absorbing gels and blocks near vents and around the tents to prevent lingering smells in your home.

After all, you would not want to have your neighbors complaining about the pesky smell emanating from your home! And you would not want any degenerates trying to break into your home and steal the plants you have worked so hard on.

Microscope

In order to determine when the plants are ready for harvest, you need to observe them closely. To do this, you will need the help of a microscope to prevent strain on the eyes.

When you use a microscope, you will be able to see the tiny hairs(trichomes) on the buds easily. And, once they are amber or a cloudy white colour, you can go ahead and harvest.
